This policy applies to ShalaPro PhotoReady, its customer website and its account, activation, licensing, payment and support services. ShalaPro PhotoReady is provided by Manthan Infotech. Contact details are listed below.
1. Photos, signatures and projects
PhotoReady accesses photos, scanned pages and signatures that you choose to open. Face detection, cropping, colour correction, rendering, project storage, printing and export run locally on your Windows computer. Face detection locates a face for cropping; it does not identify the person or maintain a face-recognition database. The PhotoReady commercial service does not receive student photos, signatures, filenames, local file paths, crop information or project contents. Original photographs are opened read-only. Local projects and exported files remain under your control; you can delete them using the app or Windows. Any sharing, printing or backup that you perform outside PhotoReady is governed by the service you choose.
2. Account, school and support information
When you register, verify your email, activate a device, request information or contact support, we process the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, school name, address, state and district, and support correspondence. We use this information to manage your account, verify access, provide licences and respond to enquiries. Email verification messages are sent to the address you supply. If you voluntarily send files to support, those files are received as part of your support request; please avoid sending student content unless necessary and authorized.
3. Device and technical information
For activation, licence validation, fraud prevention and service operation, we process installation identifiers, device labels, device public keys or their hashes, platform and app version, session and entitlement information, access status and relevant timestamps. Online requests also involve network information such as IP addresses and user-agent details; the service uses hashed IP information for certain security and rate-limiting records. The service can send licence, maintenance, update and customer-notice information to the app. Student content is not required for these checks.
4. Payments
Licences are purchased through the PhotoReady website using Razorpay rather than Microsoft Store commerce. Razorpay processes payment credentials under its own privacy policy. PhotoReady receives order and transaction identifiers, amount, payment status, plan and relevant account details to fulfil purchases, activate licences, handle refunds and maintain accounting records. We do not store complete card numbers, CVV values, UPI PINs or banking passwords.
5. Use and disclosure
We use service information to operate PhotoReady, authenticate accounts and devices, administer licences and payments, protect against misuse, resolve support requests and meet applicable obligations. We do not sell student content or use it for advertising or unrelated profiling. Service information may be processed by providers needed for hosting, payment processing and service communications, or disclosed where required by law. External websites and services you open have their own privacy policies.
6. Retention, deletion and security
Account, licensing, payment and security records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and secure the service, resolve disputes and satisfy applicable accounting or legal requirements. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information held by the PhotoReady service. Some records may need to be retained for these purposes. Removing the app does not automatically delete your online account or files you saved outside the app. We use HTTPS for service communications, protected authentication information and device-bound activation controls. Users remain responsible for protecting their Windows devices and local files.
7. School and student use
PhotoReady is intended for authorized school staff and other authorized users. You are responsible for having permission to process the photos and signatures you import and for controlling access to local files. We do not require children to create accounts or upload their photos to the commercial service.
