This agreement is between the school, institution, business, or individual accepting it and Manthan Infotech. By purchasing, installing, activating, or using PhotoReady, you agree to these terms.
1. Licence
A paid licence is limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and for your own school or organisation. Unless the order says otherwise, one licence activates one Windows computer. Annual access lasts for the purchased period. Lifetime access means the supported commercial life of the purchased PhotoReady product version; it does not promise operation on every future operating system or unlimited future major-version upgrades.
2. Permitted use
You may use PhotoReady to prepare, crop, correct, resize, print, and export student photos and signatures for legitimate school work. You are responsible for required consent and for checking every output before submission or printing.
3. Restrictions
You must not redistribute or resell the software, share a licence between unrelated organisations, remove ownership notices, bypass payment or activation controls, or reverse engineer the first-party software except where applicable law expressly permits it.
4. Account and activation
Paid output features require a valid account, an eligible entitlement, and an activated device. PhotoReady may periodically verify licence, device, version, maintenance, and security status. Access may be suspended after expiry, full refund, chargeback, account compromise, device-limit abuse, or a material breach.
5. Privacy
Core photo and signature processing happens on the school computer. The commercial service is designed to receive account, payment, licence, app-version, and privacy-safe installation information—not student photos, signatures, or local file paths. Payment credentials are handled by the payment provider.
6. Ownership and open-source components
PhotoReady is licensed, not sold. Manthan Infotech retains its first-party rights. Included third-party components remain governed by their respective open-source licences, and these terms do not reduce rights granted by those licences.
7. Payments and refunds
The price, term, device limit, and taxes are shown at checkout or on the invoice. Refunds and cancellations follow the policy presented at purchase and applicable law. A full refund or chargeback may revoke the related licence. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
8. Warranty and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the software is supplied as available. Portal requirements and operating systems can change. Keep original files and backups and review all output. Statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected. Liability that may legally be limited is capped at the amount paid for the affected licence in the preceding twelve months.
9. Governing law
Indian law applies. Subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction, disputes are subject to competent courts in Rajasthan, India.
